After the rain

After 3 days of rainfall that totaled over five inches, the region is drying out a little.  This April now ranks as the 6th wettest on record with 7.16″ of precipitation.  The wettest was in 1889, with 8.89″ of rain.  We are shy of that record by less than a couple inches, so with a week or so left in the month, we could certainly make a run at it.
