Another big nor’easter

Another huge storm will be hitting the East later this weekend, with heavy rain likely for most of Virginia.  As the storm really gets cranking later Sunday, colder air will make a good effort at forcing a little snow out of this system in the mountains to our west, and over areas well north of Virginia.

This is just a short warm spell. Cold weather will probably return in about 2 weeks. Winter started only 3 weeks ago and we have about 2 months of winter left. Trust me, winter is far from over.

This started off to be the first real winter we have had in years, and I was loving it. The December snow was beautiful, and I am ready for more. Will our cold weather and snowfall return soon?

Just when I was getting used to the cold and loving it, we have to have a pattern change. Do you think we will go back to the cold temperatures eventually? I am ready for more snow.

Don’t worry, I believe that cold air will push back down south in about 2 weeks.
