Tree pollens have soared to levels usually seen a bit later in spring. The early warmth this year has given trees a jump-start. There’s a temptation to think that because levels are so high so soon, that this will be a particularly bad pollen season. However, you need to think of it this way; the early start means it will end sooner.
High soil moisture levels from the past several months precipitation may help enhance things, but overall, once the trees fully bloom the worst should be over.
