It’s Getting Dry Out There

It’s been 2 weeks since we’ve had any noteable rainfall.  After a soggy Fall and Winter, all of the sudden the rain has slowed down dramatically.  April was below average and May has been virtually rain-free for most of us.

Grass is turning brown and gardens are thirsty BUT I did notice that farm ponds are full so the fully charged groundwater should keep rivers going for a long time…

    Today, Sunday, June 27th. 1:30pm. I just checked the U.S Temperature maps and found that it is hotter here than anywhere else in the country!!

    I looked at this temp map.

    Why is that?
