Colder Arctic Blast NEXT Weekend

The cold blast we felt this past weekend was cold but the cold air slated to arrive this Saturday will likely be a few degrees colder.  We could be looking at high temperatures this coming Sunday and Monday below freezing.  Keep in mind this cold will be intense but not record-setting.

Here in Richmond we typically get a couple of days per winter with high temperatures below 32 degrees.

If you like the chilly weather, you’ll be happy for a while.  The cold pattern shows no signs of breaking for at least the next two weeks!

What is the prediction on Hanover/Henrico/Goochland schools having a delay Friday?

No clue, but the absolute most recent models hint at more moisture along with the clipper due in on Thursday night. Basically, it looks like we are looking at light snowfall again; somewhere around an inch (thought that is still pushing it). At best hope for flurries and you might be surprised.

  2. At least I heard Florida got down in the 30’s, so I won’t complain but a neighbor just left for a business trip to Phoenix, back after a week for 3 days, then Orlando. He says he will enjoy those perks of the job.
